The Staff Room Rubrics

Edmonton teacher, Stacy Morgan, thought this extensive site from Ontario
might be of interest. It contains many ? MANY ? rubrics, all categorized by
subject area. Don?t forget to check out Elaine Coxon?s main page as well ?
she has a great collection of resources for teachers.

Canada’s Physical Activity Guide

My principal, Jen Allen, found this great guide!? It is a Guide to help you
make wise choices about physical activity. Choices that will improve your
health, help prevent disease, and allow you to get the most out of life.

The Guide is in a one-page, easy-to-read format that’s available for order
on its own, or as a pull-out section in a Handbook that gives you even more
information on building physical activity into your daily life.

Starshine Project

My buddy, Andy, reminded me that there are only two months remaining for the
Starshine Project before it burns up in the Earth?s atmosphere.? Combine
this lesson with a previous Teacher List favorite ? Heaven?s Above.com ? to
determine when you will see this satellite pass over your area.? (There are
clear instructions on the first page on how to do this.) Did I mention that
students from around the States helped to polish the mirrors on this device?
