Blind (AFB) created the Braille Bug web site to teach sighted children about
braille, and to encourage literacy among all children. This site has jokes
written in braille and students can type in their answers.? They can type in
their name and have it printed in braille.

Some days, I feel overwhelmed by the sheer volume of the PC world.? I could
be considered a power-user of both platforms with a strong personal
preference for Mac.? I?ve never apologized for having that preference and
it?s times like this that I am going to shamelessly promote the Mac side.
My pal, Des King, sent this site a while ago and today is a good day to
share it.? This site evolved from a North Carolina school district?s
decision to abandon a dual platform system in favour of a PC-only platform.
It played a familiar tune with me as my own district made this unfortunate
and short-sighted decision a couple of years ago.
I won?t feel obligated to reply to nasty retorts or to offer a balanced
approach on this one.? If you?re a PC user, you?ll get over it… ;>? I’ll

3D and Animation are becoming ?big? on the web these days.? List member,
Wade Iseminger, stumbled across AnimWatch the other day.? He thought that
the clips, S.O.S., More, and Bert are great and that he could use in his
classroom for discussion of development of character and theme.? He adds
that Bert’s Garden would be a good film to spark a discussion on the nature
and “human progress.”
