I found this interesting site the other day.? It may come in handy for
parents, teachers, counselors, etc.? It may even be of use during the hectic

Just a quick note to everyone to remind them (especially as some American
teachers are beginning their holidays next week) that you can suspend your
account and I?ll add your name again on a date of your choosing.
Having said that, please know that the last Teacher List for this school
year will go out on June 25th.? I will not be sending any Teacher List
messages over the summer as I have done in the past.? But I will
add/remove/change subscriptions as those requests come in.
The Teacher List will start up again on September 1, 2004.
So, if you still want a suspension, just visit
http://www.compusmart.ab.ca/mackay/suspend.html and fill out the simple
form.? Otherwise, many teachers will have no need to adjust their summer
arrangements as they may have in the past.
I made the acquaintance of British educator, Nik Peachey this week.? He is
involved with a handful of useful sites that I will be sharing with you over
the next couple of days.? The first is Teaching English. The materials on
this site are designed for non-native speaker teachers of English working in
state schools around the world.? This site is a co-production between the
British Broadcasting Corporation and the British Council ? two very
important sponsors whose contributions make the materials on this project
free for all.
I pulled this one from Inspiration?s Flashes newsletter this month.? Did you
know that you can add speech components to your Inspiration creations?? This
fantastic program just gets better with every version.? If you use
Inspiration 7.5 in your school, check out this simple tutorial.
