We’ve just completed another telecollaboration project.? Sandra Gluth and fourth grade teacher (9 & 10 year olds), Linda Alloway from The Academy at King Edward in Edmonton worked with their students to learn about and draw out a simple machine.? The drawings were then sent to my tenth grade hypermedia students (15 & 16 year olds) who under the guidance of my student teacher, Vivian Rusu, animated the drawings.? The project wasn’t just about drawing an animation though.? It revolved around the collaboration that evolved as the two groups of students wrote back and forth to plan the actions of their machines.? Check out the results on our website.
