Book Adventure

Brooklyn teacher, Debbie, told me about this Sylvan Learning Centre
site. Book Adventure.org was? designed to help students reading below
grade level.? There are reading lists, and you can choose books that are
on level, below level or challenging.? There are quizzes to take, and
students can earn rewards.? There are also resources available for
teachers.? Lots of advertising, but if you can pick through, there seems
to be some useful bits here.

What Canadians Think About Everything – Globe & Mail

My pal, Shane, tossed this my way yesterday.? It’s a Globe & Mail survey
about the latest Canadian opinions.? I won’t embarrass myself by sharing
my score, but I sure have my eye on the Flash quiz components – this
would make a great Flash activity for my students to create!
