New Mac Commercials

I love those Mac commercials with the two fellas, one is Mac, one is
PC.? They kind of sum up the whole situation in my mind.? Seeing as
yesterday’s site wasn’t very Mac friendly, I thought I’d pass on the
link to the new series of Mac commercials, thanks to my pal, Des!

Another cool Flash clock

North Hollywood teacher, Steve Reidman thought if you ever needed a site
for an interesting clock, take a look at this. If you click on the
clock, you’ll be taken to a site that has a free screensaver download.
No guarantees from me but I like the fact that it features that Nakamura
clock I featured a few years ago…? Sorry Macs – looks like this one is
PC only.

The Promises & Problems of Working with Blogs, Wikis

My friend Daphne Gonzalvez passed on this presentation by John Pearce
for the k12online.conference. He tells the story of his journey through
developing blogs, wikis and podcasts with his grade 3/4 students. Well
worth a look/listen – a long journey but very interesting because it is
a familiar road for fellow teachers on the information highway.

Creative Drama & Theatre Education Resource Site

Kelowna teacher, Sharon Affeld, found this site that offers all sorts of
resources for the drama teacher.? She was particularly impressed by the
Theatre Games site but there are a lot of other ideas for use in the
classroom.
