Redwater teacher, Fred Moody, pointed out that this site wasn’t in my
archives at all.? I remember recommending San Francisco’s Exploratorium
back when it was in its infancy (and probably before I started keeping
records) and it is definitely worth another look now.? The site has
obviously evolved and contains a lot of information and activities that
apply to all grades.

Boy, some days I don’t have to look further than the classroom next door
as my friend Rob Petrovic found the new and improved Canada Food Guide
online.? Within the site you can enter your age, gender, medical
condition (diabetic, lactose intolerant, etc..), and preference for
various foods (vegetarian) and the computer will output a nice little
PDF file that you can print which is catered to the criteria you enter.
There is also an educator’s link.

Edmonton teacher, Fred Shreenan, found a site that contains useful and
free activities and worksheets. It is similar to edhelper and he thought
many teachers would find it helpful.

Kelowna teacher, Sharon Affeld, found this site for teachers, parents
and students who seek engaging mathematics. Many of the topics are
accompanied by Java illustrations. There are more than 800 Java applets.
