My friend, Terry Korte, passed on this interesting site. Strange Matter is a traveling exhibition developed by the Ontario Science Centre and presented by the Materials Research Society with the support of the National Science Foundation. There is some great information for teachers and families – especially those who cannot visit the actual exhibit or who prefer to use the online resources.

Here’s another resource from Rod Oickle of “Our Page” fame. Rod examines and provides many resources regarding the development of young adults.

List member, Gerald Logan, reminded me of a site that I thought I sent out last year but might not have… Teaching That Makes Sense is a collection of articles, discussions and resources that revolve around solid teaching practices. There are a lot of downloadable (pdf) resources and other such information that will be of interest to a broad variety of teachers.

Thanks to Alastair Sweeny who found this great collection of applications that are available for the Mac – all at no charge! This one will take some time to go through, I think…!
