My StoryMaker

Another from my pal, Danny Maas. My StoryMaker lets you control characters and objects – and creates sentences for you. Once you are done with your story, save it online or print it out in the Library. It would be a perfect tool to use with an interactive whiteboard for students in division 1.

And that’s it for the tenth year of The Teacher List! I’ll be back in September for year 11. I hope you all have a chance to relax and catch up with the important things in life — catch a few fish, make a few one-putts, bbq a few burgers… Have a great summer!

SAM Animation

I got this site from my friend, Steve Nyitrai. I haven’t tried it out but it looked very promising. SAM Animation is software designed to give students the power of making stop-action movies to share their ideas and understanding. The software is easy to use and provides a unique experience for students to explore challenging problems in any subject through creating animations.

Great Source iWrite

My friend and Melbourne transplant, Nic Ryan, found this site. A source for writing ideas, iWrite has tools to help students, teachers, and parents use the writing process in the classroom and at home.
