This uh, visualization…, from visual-literacy.org is a handy reference that collects many visualization methods and organizes them in the familiar periodic table format. Categorized into data, information, concept, strategy, metaphor, and compound areas, a viewer hovers over each ‘element’ and a popup displays an example of what that method looks like. I think you may be surprised to see how many elements are in common use in our work.
